Vencedores do TCA Awards 2008 e indicados ao Emmy Awards 2008

Parece-me que o Emmy desse ano está bem justo – diferente de algumas edições anteriores. Mas enquanto esperamos pela cerimônia, que ocorrerá dia 21/09, podemos conferir o resultado do TCA Awards desse ano, que teve como destaque o drama de época Mad Men (HBO).
Voltando a falar sobre o Emmy Awards, queria dizer que fiquei feliz em ver que a animação para adultos Robot Chicken (antes exibida pelo Cartoon Network) estava concorrendo na categoria “Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour)”; em português, “Prêmio de melhor animação (para um programa com menos uma hora)”. Top Chef (Sony), junto com Project Runway (People and Arts) e outros três programas estão concorrendo ao “Prêmio de melhor reality-show de competição”. Scrubs (Sony), que tinha concorrido ao “Prêmio de melhor série de comédia”, entra na disputa com 30 Rock (Sony), According To Jim (Sony), Californication (Warner Channel), In Treatment (HBO) e My Name Is Earl (FX) pelo “Outstanding Cinematography For A Half-hour Series”. Só o que deixou a desejar foi a melhor comédia do ano, The Sarah Silverman Program (Sony), não estar concorrendo ao “Prêmio de melhor série de comédia”. E onde está Six Feet Under (HBO)? Mais uma vez, o melhor drama da HBO/Warner fica de fora…
